2025 Work Team (Dates at LJA) July 14 – August 18
Note on Dates: Hart and Lynn will arrive in Mwanza July 13 th, stay overnight, shop for food, and drive to LJA on July 14th. If you want to fly with us you should probably contact ASAP Tickets – Sarvesh 888-595-4617. Please confirm details with us before final booking.
You may come for any time during the work team dates. Most people find a minimum of two weeks to be a good timeframe.
There are many options for interaction during the work team stay:
* Student garden activities.
* Classroom help, reading stories, after school activities
* Painting
* Wheelchair help
* Sports, Art, Music
Costs:
* Airfare varies, probably figure $1700 – $3000. You can book yourself or use ASAP Tickets as a suggestion.
* Travel from and to airport and other trips $75 per person
* Lodging and Meals are $35 per night per person. Sample 2 week stay (14 nights) at LJA – $490
* Serengeti Day Trip (optional) $250 per person includes Safari Admission and gas for the trip.
* Souvenirs are personal and separate from LJA – many spend about $200
