MATCHING GIFT CHALLENGE
A small group of Lion of Judah Academy supporters have created a Matching Gift Challenge for us to close out 2020. Every donation received between now and the end of the year will be matched dollar for dollar, up to a total of $15,000. That offers a potential for the ministry of the school to be blessed with $30,000 between now and December 31! This is an amazing opportunity for the school to close a most difficult 2020 on a very strong note!
We hope and pray many will be touched and moved to take advantage of this way to be a special blessing to the ministry and students of The Lion of Judah Academy.
Gifts can be received through several different sources, and may be designated to any purpose at the school — capital development, student sponsorship, teacher support, dental training mission — literally any designation.
A Lion of Judah Academy Facebook Fundraiser has been created. This fundraiser is now active and receiving contributions. It will remain open December 31. But a SPECIAL NOTE — on Giving Tuesday, December 1, Facebook is offering its own Matching Donation challenge. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. (Eastern time) on Tuesday, December 1, On that day Facebook will donate $7,000,000 to not for profits, on a matching basis, through the Facebook fundraisers. The first $2 million will be matched on a dollar for dollar basis. The next $5 million will be matched on the basis of $1 for every $10 donated. So you might want to set your alarm for 8:00 a.m. Tuesday because that day your contribution could be more than doubled!
Support a Current Project through the website. These projects are ongoing and include a variety of critical needs
Mail your contribution to support the school by sending your contribution to: The Lion of Judah Ministries, 12523 SE Old Cypress Drive, Hobe Sound, FL 33455
All contributions received between now and December 31 will move us toward the goal of meeting the challenge to raise $15,000 and seeing it matched with another $15,000!
CLASS 7 NATIONAL EXAM RESULTS
The school has received results for the recent Class 7 national examinations and, once again, they are truly outstanding!
Twelve students received an overall score of A. Fourteen students received an overall score of B. One student received an overall score of C. No student received below a C.
In addition the class as a whole ranked #3 out of all schools in the entire region! THAT is amazing!
We celebrate with these fine young students, and join in congratulating them all.
If you missed it in an earlier post, here’s a brief video of the Class 7 students processing at their recent graduation! Dancing, of course!
