There are over 750 students at The Lion of Judah Academy, in Awali (kindergarten) through Form 6 (advanced level college prep). 80% of those students need financial assistance, because they are the children of poor Tanzania pastors, church workers, and other low-income Tanzanian believers.
The 2023 Giving Tuesday, Facebook Fundraiser, and Matching Challenge is going to support those students and their needs. All donations received in November and December, 2023, will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $15,000.
The Lion of Judah Academy is a private Christian primary and secondary school located in Bulima, Tanzania, East Africa. Its purpose is to provide an excellent but affordable education to the children of Tanzanian pastors, church workers and Bible college students, as well as to orphans and other disadvantaged children. The Lion of Judah Ministries exists to support the school.
Generous donors have pledged to match donations up to $15,000. All donations through the Facebook Fundraiser, Giving Tuesday and Matching Challenge, and Venmo, will be matched and assigned to support needy students.
